LX 7007 Compact
The unit has been designed to offer the best possible price/performance ratio and to occupies a minimum of instrument panel room. The most important difference to LX 7007 Basic is, that LX 7007 Compact doesn't consist of LX Vario unit. The sensor electronics has been moved into 80 mm unit and as a vario display is used one 57 mm LCD module with installation depth not more than 30mm. This configuration doesn't allow to connect any options , so the LX 7007 Compact is designed as a solution for single seaters.
The unit is without integral GPS receiver, so it needs an external GPS source. Flarm can be used as GPS and also as a collision data source. After Flarm connection a so called "flarm radar screen" can be activated on pilot demand.
LX 7007 Compact is also capable to drive PDA and PNA units via its special port which delivers 5V power, NMEA and Flarm data sentences.
