LX Voice Module

General

The LX Voice Module was developed to make LX 7007 pro IGC even more user friendly by providing voice warnings and information generated by the built in voice synthesizer. The LX Voice Module comes in two variants: The LX 7007 system bus connectable device or as the stand alone unit.

As the LX system bus participant, the LX Voice Module does not require the external power supply. There are also no additional speakers necessary as the built in audio mixer makes the existing vario speaker also available for the voice.

The stand alone Voice Module providing a Flarm compatible input converts all Flarm warnings to according voice information.

Hardware Configuration

A suitable aluminium black box (55x22x75mm) may be installed anywhere in the cockpit. Three digital inputs also allow connection of other external sensors providing e.g. landing gear or air brakes status signals.

LX 7007 Optional Voice Module

The unit is powered and controlled via the LX system bus. The existing speaker should only be reconnected from the LX 7007 output to the Voice Module output. The unit includes the audio mixer controlled by the LX 7007 to reduce the vario volume during the Voice Module active time. The mixer setting is controlled entirely by the pilot. The LX 7007 with Flarm option also provides Flarm warnings to the Voice Module.

Stand Alone Voice Module

This Voice Module has been mainly developed to support Flarm units with voice information. Any Flarm unit can be plug and play connected to LX Voice Module.
