LX Mini Map KB

The unit is designed and also produced by LX Navigation and threfore fully meets glider pilot requirements during his flight. The most important part of the system is an excellent high resolution color graphic display, which is readable under all weather conditions. A robust aluminium casing prevents the unit against damage during the whole life time. A professional SUB D 9P connector is positioned on the back side of the unit and serves as power and data interface. Pilot machine interface is realized via touch pad which is a part of the system.The program and also the data base is stored on the SD card. This solution makes possible multi pilot use, as every pilot is able to use his own personal card  with his personal settings and also different navigation programs can be used. 

A keyboard module which consists of five push buttons and two rotary switches is added as a plug in device. Installation and also removal is extremelly easy and could be done also by user. Two push buttons are integrated into rotary switches and rest three are as stand alone. The push buttons and rotary switches are directly connected to the microcontroller which is build into LX Mini Map. The microcontroller converts comands excetuded by switches and push buttons into  form which is acceptable by main processor module. Due to this solution is also possible to customize push button and rotars switch functions regarding to individual pilot oppinion.

Every unit comes with installation frame which makes possible to install the unit very easy to the instrument panel. Installation over one 80 mm panel cut out is also possible. For the installations out of the panel a suitable option with gooseneck  is also offered. Both installations solutions makes possible a very simple removal of the unit due to snap in mechanism. Portrait and also landscape orientations are possible.

Adv-JBA special device called Junction Box makes connection of GPS source and also power extreemelly simple, mainly plug and play. The  built in microcontroller is capable to adapt to any baud rate of GPS source automatically. A suitable cable set  to connect power and  GPS is delivery included. Any unit having an IGC standard connector and also Flarm units are connectable plug abd play.
